About Above & Below - Art Studio
Above & Below Art Studio is about art education, awareness, community, beauty, and encouragement.
We have been involved in the Arts District of downtown Vancouver for seven years and instrumental in it's growth. Every exhibition is created with an eye to an arts-interested population and traffic in the main street downtown area.
We exist as an art studio and gallery with the express mission to expose, exhibit, promote and sell artwork of emerging and regional artists and to give voice to diverse contemporary artists with limited prior exposure.
Artists who affiliate with “A&B” are those who are mature in their work, yet may have limited exposure and are not otherwise affiliated with a gallery in the region. We seek artists with education and training and those with un-formed natural gifts.
The workspace at “A&B” is also regularly used as a teaching and working studio.
We are a destination point of the Vancouver Arts District.
First Fridays:
Artist receptions are on First Fridays, when all Downtown galleries are open 5-9pm.
New work every month!
